You are certainly responsible for your life. Taking care of yourself is a crucial component.

Self-care is supportive behavior and thoughts. By understanding your other needs, you can nurture your emotional, physical, and professional health. Letting yourself down by denying your own needs is self-abandonment. It is not good for you or others.

Remember, your physical, emotional and professional health is very important to your mental and emotional health.

When you put yourself first, you regain energy. You've got to take care of your body and yourself.

If you don't take care of yourself, you will be in a state of stress. Stress energy is physical energy, and it is incredibly detrimental to your body. When you don't get enough nurturing self-care, your body will get worn down. You will feel tired, depressed, and not like yourself.

What happens when you don't take care of yourself?

You can get sick.

How do you know if you are stressed?

If you are constantly putting yourself in your haves and not in your have-not's, you may be a victim of a victim ( Constantly worrying and feeling hopeless). Or, you may be a martyr (A person who sacrifices his/her own interests for the sake of others). You are being a victim.

How do you tell yourself you deserve better?

Here's a tip--You are not your thoughts.

How many times have you entered a vicious circle of something in life, like loaning money, and then you get upset and resentful because you are worried you won't have enough money next month? You know, for most men, it's easy to say, "I'll be more responsible." Or, "I'll be more nurturing."

But, do you fail to consider your financial responsibilities(what you said you wanted)notwhat you said you could afford?

You need self-nurturing time. It is not good to put yourself left-out of your life and your other obligations. Feelings of self-pity will only develop and lead you further away from building your self-confidence. Place quality time and energy in yourself.

Consider your self-care and understand how important it is to keep yourself as healthy as possible.

Ask yourself, "What is important to my current state of well-being?"

How are you understanding yourself and your needs emotionally, physically and financially?

How can you take more responsibility for yourself, by getting yourself into the driver's seat?

Learning to pass the buck and justify not taking care of yourself can help you better understand what you can do to improve your quality of life.

I could go on for pages about the ways you can honor and appreciate yourself. Please use your imagination.

The final tip: You need to be ready to change. If you feel you are stuck in your circumstances, you need to take action to get out of that rut. This is what makes the difference with so many people who are unhappy.

Take the time to figure out what makes you happy. Are you doing what is in your power to learn? Are you learning from other people who have already succeeded? I think the question to ask yourself is, "Who provides me with the training?"

Learn to accept yourself the way you are. You are a perfect creation and have everything you need to be healthy, strong and happy. There are others in your life right now doing well and you need to acknowledge and appreciate yourself for who you are and what you are doing.
